Mission
If this COVID-19 pandemic has taught me anything, it is that I never really did have "control" of what the future brings. It is a false sense of illusion to believe that things will always stay the same. Yet we always act surprised when the things that we depend on suddenly are different. The phones we spent a fortune on sometimes do not reboot. The things we own in our homes like appliances, roofs and heating/cooling eventually break down and need repair or replacement. This applies to all things we own or think we can control. This resistance can be seen in our fights with the weather to be different, our car to start when the battery says no, the "if only" expectations in all of our relationships, and in the many ways we resist our aging and changing bodies.
Instead of wasting our energy and wishing our lives were different....is it possible to use this situation we are in as our path? What other choice do we really even have?
I think the Serenity Prayer says it best: "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."
My mission is to help you with tools along your journey to be able to connect or "tune in" to a space of clarity, peace, and to the "Innate Intelligence" that is within. When we "tune in" to ourselves both physically and mentally, we can notice where we are stuck and what we need to work on to create a balance that is essential for good health.
But we must do this with a space of Compassion. It's not easy to see where we need to change, improve or to accept. It's also not easy to be with our own discomfort or our disease (dis-ease). So true Compassion begins at home.... and in this case, "Home" is in your heart. How can we be compassionate and find connection with others, if we can't even practice it towards ourselves?
So from our homes, we can conveniently and safely stay connected and "in touch" with others in our community, while "tuning in" towards ourselves.
